When do the websites/scouts start rating the '89 prospects? I want to see if my friend, who I played squirts and peewees will crack anybodys list.

scoutman1 said:These are some of the top players for the 2007NHL draft to keep an eye on:
Ben MacAskill. Defense. QMJHL

Where is he playing this year?
cagney said:Gagner is Canadian but his family has moved to the states and he'll be playing in the USHL.
HabLover said:It's somewhat surprising that he didn't play in the OHL. Perhaps he's not ready?

well i dont wanna sound like im name dropping, but his name is teddy ruth, if anyone has any thoughts about him, id appreciate it.cagney said:I don't see why you can't mention his name.
orangeandblack said:cagney, do you kknow if the ntdp considered gagner or brad malone, since both are apparently dual citizens and they ended up taking colin wilson, another dual citizen?

orangeandblack said:at the ntdp camp it was reported that he was solid, but didnt do anything to stick out from the others. he wasnt rated in the top half of defensemen, but was invited to join the team afterall. i think frank grzeszczak is the better dfensive prospect from florida for that age. although hes pretty small, but has great skating and offensive capabilities, could possibly be a nice forward prospect.
X-SHARKIE said:Well after some solid looking drafts in 05-06 I thought mabey the 07 would be a drop off, but it looks very good at this moment, although it's still highly premature to look at it and label it as a good/bad draft class.

X-SHARKIE said:06, but don't count on me being drafted.
