Gagner is Canadian but his family has moved to the states and he'll be playing in the USHL.

From what I've heard about him I think he's got a ways to go before he gets any kind of NHL draft hype. That's not to say he's bad or anything, just not spectacular in the way a player his age would need to be to get noticed.
at the ntdp camp it was reported that he was solid, but didnt do anything to stick out from the others. he wasnt rated in the top half of defensemen, but was invited to join the team afterall. i think frank grzeszczak is the better dfensive prospect from florida for that age. although hes pretty small, but has great skating and offensive capabilities, could possibly be a nice forward prospect.

Well after some solid looking drafts in 05-06 I thought mabey the 07 would be a drop off, but it looks very good at this moment, although it's still highly premature to look at it and label it as a good/bad draft class.
I think it will be very good defensively. i guess esposito is still the top offensive player for this draft.
