We should vote getz here, to contradict the getz vs Bergeron thread

Getz gets you a higher peak for your Cup run. Bergeron gets you a longer peak to try to make a couple runs in if you can retool like the Bruins were able to. I took Bergeron in the other poll because the longevity is nice, but it is a real trade off giving up the higher peak in a league where you need elite players to win.

What I find interesting about this question is that our answers will undoubtedly be different today than they would have been 5, 10 or 15 years ago. Back in 2010 I think a lot of people would have had Mike Richards higher on their lists than Bergeron. Today it’s not even close.

I would've put Parise at the highest 10 years ago.
