Obviously we want guys to block shots, and Miller’s trying. It’s just from that distance, obviously I should stop it if nobody’s in front of me.
So it’s kind of that conversation we had. If he doesn’t have time to get there with his body, maybe just let that shot go for me.

There’s a balance there because we’re not the kind of team that just bangs it out and chops it in.
We come out of our end making plays to generate speed through the neutral zone. That’s our game. So it is a tough adjustment.
You want to simplify, but I think you can’t just completely change how you play
