Really dislike having an older guy that clearly is on the decline getting top minutes just because he's the captain..I see this being an issue all season long.

He tries hard. He is actually way below his stellar career shooting % of 8%, only 3% right now. So things can only get better I guess.

Agree. I really liked the way he played last game. Having seen the team both with and without him now, it's very clear how valuable his ability to gain the O-zone with possession and forecheck on chip-and-chases is to the team. He also actually attempted some good passes last game, it wasn't just automatic that once he had the blue line a shot was coming. Plus, as mentioned, his sh% has been abnormally low so far this season.

Only reason he is on the ROR line is because Ennis has been terrible.

too many shots from the tops of the circles when he had the opportunity to drive the net. He needs to be more aggressive in getting to the net, or at least the low slot.

I don't know about *deserve*, but I wouldn't mind seeing McGinn swap there. It's not a long term answer (Reinhart), but for now it might do.

I don't know about that. Linus has a 2.31/.926. That's about as good as you can expect from him I think as a rookie. I think this will be A/B all year unless someone ***** the bed.

Ennis is key, but he just needs to get going. Kane seems like a good fit on that ROR line. From what I have seen their games would compliment eachother.

If that Reinhart goal had counted, we'd be looking at a chance to pick up points in all of them.
