They were blowing calls all over the ice for the entire game. It's the NHL.
To expand on this a bit, it should be a well-known fact that getting your free hand on a player from behind is likely to be called, even if you didn't hold, just like getting your stick parallel to the ice and waist high to your opponent from behind is likely to be called, even if you didn't hook them. Don't put yourself in that position if you don't want to be called. Schwartz clearly got his free hand on Forsberg's hand(s). The official was 15 feet away and looking directly at it. Schwartz brought it upon himself and likely committed a penalty, but even if he didn't he certainly did enough to make it appear to have been a penalty.
In the second period the Blues scored on a powerplay that resulted from a legitimate trip, but a trip that would not have happened if the officials had called the obvious slash on the Blues not long before. They got their goal from a piss poor officiating effort. Then, they let up three goals, including a shorty, in the third period instead of putting the game away. Nashville benefited from what could have been a bad call (but was still a bad idea on Schwartz's part).
Nashville beat St Louis last night, not the officials.
