[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

We’re very conscious and very committed to playing defense and playing the right way. Our transition game is very good right now.
We’re finding ways to wear on the opposition.
- J.T. Miller

We’re definitely confident, but everyone knows we scored seven goals, and it wasn’t our ‘A’ game.
Which is kind of weird to say, but a little puck luck, score on your chances, and it’s definitely a confident group right now. We’re having some fun.
- Kevin Hayes

Before confidence. I would say ice bags. Our guys put their bodies on the line to block shots, came back and continued to play through the pain.
So, for me, that was a big statement, a willingness to pay the price in defensive situations which, when we had offensive opportunities, we were able to capitalize.
- Alain Vigneault

Huge game for me here. Been watching a few Jackets games and they seem like a tough group to play against. (think Torts) A good test and a chance to have a 4-0 road trip. If they somehow look past this game, because they cannot wait to get home...... They will get trounced. Don't see that happening though . Our first O. T. game this year. RANGERS 4, Jackets 3.

Kreider returns to beast mode.

I guess I missed the news about Kreider returning. That's great to hear.

Will Buch be able to play 50 games this season, though?

This will be a good test and I'm sure our boys will be up for it.

Expect a big one from Nasher tonight.

I think Zibanejad gets one. He's been coming on lately.

I won't be able to watch, but I'll be able to check on my phone from time to time.

Hope the boys get us 2 points tonight and continue the no OT streak!

I think this is the most solid team from top to bottom, who also has been playing pretty well that the Rangers have faced so far. If Bobrovsky is on his game tonight and the Rangers still put up like 5 goals, put me on the hype train I guess.

Hi gang, CBJ fan, should be a good one tonight. Brooklyn-based (in spite of all the Ohians in this city, I think I'm the lone Jackets fan) so it's always fun to watch CBJ-NYR games out at a bar.

No idea how to call this one, except to think advantage NYR. Seeing all the 5-spots you guys are putting up this month makes me nervous, especially with Seth Jones out of the game and a couple of rookies on defense. I'll be watching Nasher and Dubi (maybe Calvert and Nash drop em again lol).

Have fun, wishing both teams no injuries.

Excited about this game. Expect a big game from Kreider if he is playing, and Nash usually goes beast mode against his former team.

Must go beast mode in every aspect aside from the scoresheet. 3G in 10GP. Nothing else.

That being said, I hope he pots one or two tonight. Life is better with more excited Rick Nash goal celebrations.

So I've read that kreider was experiencing concussion like symptoms but didn't have a concussion which is great news but I also read that treatment wasn't working so now they're trying simpler treatments.

What I haven't read is him saying I feel great now issues are gone.

Does this bother anyone? Because he came back once from this and looked like a church mouse out there.

Who do we see tonight. We need this guy to be a force this year for us

Where did you read this?

And for the looking like a church mouse, last time he came back he looked normal for one game and then disappeared. So this game, if he's doing fine, probably isn't too telling.

He said he doesn't feel 100% but feels fine to play.

It is a weird situation but I also think people are overstating his down play after returning the first time

Looked like a completely different player. really not overstating he was benched twice in 5 games.

If he's not 100 percent he shouldn't be playing it's November. I wouldn't have him out there until whatever this is is gone.

He may have not had "peace of mind" because he wasn't sure if there was something more. That's part of the medical process. They check you out and say "No, we checked you out it is not A, it's really just B; everything else comes back clean" and you say "phew."

In the interim he may have been playing saying "Hey I am worried, I feel like it's B but is it really A?"

Agree with this. Can't understand why AV "wouldn't" sit him "unless" he was feeling 100%. I understand he wants to play, but too bad. That's when AV needs to put his foot down and tell him you're not playing. Get 100% and then we'll talk, for the betterment of the team in the long run. We NEED him, and is vital to longterm success. Imo

Stepan/Hayes expected to play tonight. Buch expected to just get out there and skate. Jooris...I guess is skating for skating's sake. Clendening is out there during his allotted recess time before getting sent back to his cell.

Wondering when was the last time we were over 100 with combined specialty team score. We're currently at 109.2. Usually our PP brings us below 100.

Good point here

He may have been like hey am I sure I don't have a concussion? I feel like I do. Maybe should take it easy here then when getting second opinion he gets that confidence back.

Let's hope all is well
