I'm sorry, I can't take your opinion seriously if you think Staal is better than Shattenkirk at literally anything.

And it's also a misnomer that advanced metrics say Clendening and Franson are amazing. They say they're NHL players, and that's about the extent of it.

Over the past few games, Staal has been better than Shattenkirk (this is coming from someone who really dislikes Staal). Obviously Shattenkirk is usually the better player, but he has regressed badly.
