Hey all,

I'm messing around with rosters on NHL 14, and am looking to add in some players to the OHL. I know it's still early, but I was hoping some fans that follow the league closely could post their teams expected line-ups. Really just need 12 F/6 D/2 G, no need to know exact line combos or anything. Any help would be awesome.

This is tough to predict for Erie with how much roster turnover they're going to have, could still be some trades in August as well. I'll give it a shot.

Most Kitchener fans expect trades this off-season. Without any deals to this point it looks something like (position can change as well)

Mascherin - Damiani - Hugg
Liska - Bunnaman - Meireles
McHugh - Garreffa - Henderson
Yantsis - Guest - Seitz/Carter
Gordon - Petizian - Seitz/Carter

Hall - Vallati
Blaisdell - Burns
Roberts - Ladd
Peterson - Gentles

Opilka
Richardson
McGonigle
Pfeil

As you can see we have quantity of bodies that can play in the O. We need to package for quality or picks.

I hopefully didn't miss a roster player.

I don't see McKenzie back this year. Or Baker making this team.

Gadjovich-Hancock-Suzuki will all be back next season and make up a solid top line

Syzpula-Sushko-Dudas will most likely round out the top half and make a decent second line

Pryce-Struthers-Campbell will make a decent depth line

Russell-Unknown-Unknown

Friend (likely return due to time miss from injury)- Phillips

Cameron-Durzi solid second

Beamish-Chibrikov will round out the 3rd pair on the backend

Bourque (and) King to be rotated into the backend

McNiven (likely return)
Vella (return)
Guzda (could come in and challenge for spot) (Dual-Citizenship)

that's before adding any deals that could come in prior to season starting if the right deal comes along

I'm sure they signed Baker to a card and if Vancouver wants to see another year of development from McKenzie before using one of their cards then the Troops is his only option (not signed yet)

I can see the point people made about the OHL being weaker this year, seems to be true based on who's leaving the league, wonder if the Dub might be at least even with the OHL this year.

I can see Mckenzie back. Why would Vancouver sign him if they don't have to.

also..I think the 2 and 3 picks are signed as well ( Rose, Evans)

McKenzie has been Butler's whipping boy for the last 2 seasons, often criticized openly in the media. If he isn't offered a contract with Vancouver, head to CIS or Europe...move on.

Trenton Bourque was drafted by the St. Louis Blues a couple weeks ago. Why would he be a healthy scratch or "rotated" behind two rookies in Beamish and Chibrikov???

Someone would have to be rotated in and out of the lineup on the back-end early on in the year until someone gets moved or sent back Chibrikov i would imagine would be rotated in on the 3rd pair due to him being a high pick. Same goes for Bourque until the coach gets the lineup set to a regular rotation.

The price you pay for talent

Virtiy WILL NOT be traded. Are you serious? He'll probably put up some decent numbers this season after ******** the bed last year. Also I'd say it's about 60/40 McKenzie ends up in Utica.

Also if Chytil does end up in the Bay, I assume the Rangers prefer us to use him at center.

Because their farm system severely lacks depth at center.

Based on what we know today is how I listed a "potential" lineup.
Unless your surname is Butler and your first name rhymes with plan, you sir are also going on 100% speculation.
Sure Chytil could play centre, sure McKenzie could end up in Utica, sure Vertiy could have a great year.

IMO McKenzie needs to have a great year to earn a contract your logic of NHL teams offer contracts to 7th round flyers simply because they lack depth is ludicrous.
