QUOTES TO NOTE:

It was kind of a flat game at that point and a lot of credit goes to Grabner because his goal really sparked us.
- Kevin Shattenkirk

It was a special night for Nasher.
You want to make sure it’s a fun night to look back at.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Our guys continue to do what they've been doing since day one. They keep playing.

Interested to see the matchups tonight. Hoping to see the Hayes line kick it in gear tonight. They have been non existant. Assuming KZB line will play against Bergeron line.

Always has to be something annoying about the lineup.

Don't care if we've won 25 in a row, Paul Carey stinks and Boo should be in over him.

Boo Nieves better still be getting over that flu to be sitting in favor or either DD or Paul Carey. Both have been awful. I’m amazed by this.

Smith doesn’t deserve to play over anyone right now so when he shows he’s in nhl shape and we need a guy to jump in then fine.

But Carey or DD over Nieves right now is friggen insane

My thoughts exactly. Smith being benched for this long messes with his head/confidence. Not good for the long run with the guy.

f*** that, Smith came into camp in terrible shape and he deserves all of the crap he's getting from the coaching staff. His poor play in training camp only solidified this. When he's game shape again, and gets into a game and proves himself, is when he will be a regular back in the line up.

He's a man, and this is the NHL, the brass isn't concerned with 'messing with his head/confidence'

I'm saying give him a couple of shifts and see how he does. It'd be easier for him to lose that weight if he's playing than sitting in the press box. I'd say he's gotten the message by now.

AV keep playing Nash and Zucc together despite them not being able to produce anything together, for literally seasons.

Good job Alain.
