In any case, this seems the right call to me. WBS is crowded; he'll get big minutes in Medicine Hat, and can develop his game and skating without worrying about getting crushed physically. Not starting the waiver clock for another season might be a good thing too.

Youre right. I think bc it’s only his 4th year he can’t even go pro.

Right. Maybe Reilly has some sorta Ian Cole potential? But the next Ruh or Kuhnhackl, who cares. Take the long shot for something better.

My new rule for these is I'm never voting for someone I can't see getting a 2m contract in the NHL.

What @Peat said.. Better off with playing time. But Sully was all over this kid on the ice loving him. Didn't realize he was that good of a puck carrier.. like PP lug it up guy
