Easy because I am comparing him to his peers. I am not going to compare him to someone like me.

My last comment on the subject.

His peers, as in the thousands that have failed before and after him to pitch at the major league level?

I mean I'm not one to say that he is what he was touted, but to suggest he can't be a #5 pitcher is just being unreasonable.

I disagree. He struggles almost every outing to complete 5 innings. He is better suited for long relief.

You showing up only to complain about something is a reoccurring pattern.

Reyes is one of my favourite players but No it's a fact and I'm not hating on him but your blind if you haven't seen him regress in the field, hopefully he figures it out

We've been through this before so I know there's no way I could possibly change your stance but the numbers over his career suggest he is capable of being a #5 starter.

Oh I have no issue with what you said. Just seems to be a select few that only decide to post when there's something going wrong.

This is so dumb. You don't need to burn a pitcher to get a single out.

meh, I wouldn't really want him to be a guy pitching multiple innings in a close game anyway. Lefty specialists are a thing, and it made sense there. And he only threw a handful of pitches so he's not burnt for tomorrow or anything.

When the single out is Ortiz, yes, yes you do.

It's not a one run game and using 3 pitchers to get 3 outs is just poor bullpen management. They didn't throw a lot of pitches or anything but warming them up to get a single out which is not guaranteed is poor bullpen management over a 162 game season.

Not a big deal by any means as Rasmussen will be in Triple A in a few days anyways but just one of those little things that bug me.

Gose is amazing! Time to leave him up with the big club.

he should have been up all year. Even when he doesn't start, he's an excellent pinch runner, and can come in defensively late in games when we're winning.

Gose is really growing on me, the guy is a pretty valuable player and does what it takes to succeed love his defense and ability to find ways to get on base he's not up there trying to smash home runs he knows his role

They didn't waste 3 pitchers to get 3 outs though. McGowan was a carry over from the previous inning. He went 1.1 IP. Delabar was planned to continue this inning, though he messed that up. Rasmussen was the only guy who was wasted to get 1 out and 1 out only, and many many teams do that on a regular basis with their lefty specialists.
