I may be interested in moving Niemi or Bobrovsky + for an upgrade in net.

I may be looking for a rental 40+ point defenseman for a pick.

How many D are on pace for 40+ points right now? Bet if you take away keepers its around 13-15, maybe 17-18. Better be a damn good pick.

Highly considering selling at this point

Couture
RNH
Zetterberg
Vanek
Keith
Lehtonen
Howard

those are my current keepers meaning anyone else is available really, looking for deals that see me acquire high picks instead of a bunch of low picks, even if it means packaging 2 or 3 good players for a 1st or 2nd alone

Big names available include:

Marian Hossa
Brian Little
Teddy Purcell
Andrei Markov
Kevin Bieksa
Martin Brodeur

and much much more!

By the way, it's looking like our regular season meetings could result in a

for the second greatest American in history (me)

I have received offers for OEL and Pietrangelo. They were nice but not really good enough.

I am willing to trade Mcdonagh who is on pace for 40+ pts

Also Hedman - on pace for 40 something as well.

Week's not over yet, don't talk to the second greatest American in history like that.

Still a win for me. Just count yourself lucky it was the holidays. If I'm at home I check who's getting the starts and dress Dubnyk for his SO, would've been 8-2. Instead I had Bryz in while he was riding the pine.

Yawn...

Oh you're talking to me? Yeah and if I didn't sit Tavares today or made a couple different choices through the week, I would've walked away with a huge win.

Honestly I wish you did trounce me so I could say I can't wait see you in the playoffs when I have my reigning Vezina champion back in the line-up and around when Crosby will be injured, Ovechkin mentally falls apart and the Wild continue their tradition of late season excellence... but it doesn't really make sense now that you just barely beat me.

ugh. I may have won this week because EV didn't get enough G starts.

Yahoo should really make this a 2 weaker like they do for the start of the season.

But i'll take it :D

Uh...playing the goalie who's getting the start instead of the one on the bench isn't a decision point. It's a no brainer.

Tavares today is the only legit example, because if you saw before the game that he was playing you would obviously dress him. Unfortunately you still suck at math. Tavares would have made for a tie in goals and nothing else. So no, it wouldn't have been a huge win. It wouldn't even have been a win.

And by the way, Ovechkin's best month throughout his career is April, with 1.40PPG. Keep fantasizing about your how your Jim Carey 2.0 is gonna carry your team through the playoffs though. If you even make the playoffs.

To me this chirping is saying that the second greatest American in history is beginning to make you nervous. Despite your fantasy Wetcoaster act your goaltending is a mess, you offense is shaky and injury prone and your window for potentially winning the league is closing by the day. :)

Heck Lord of Bones probably has more a chance at this point.

I've never denied the goaltending mess. Fortunately, you can still win with a goaltending mess because all you need is for 1 player to get hot at the right time and you're fine. As for the rest of it, you must live in one of those states that legalized MJ?

Shaky: Blatantly untrue (2nd best offensive stats this year behind Tiranis)
Injury Prone: Who, other than Crosby?
Closing Window: My oldest skater keeper was 28?

Due to the reduced number of games played during this fantasy week, minimum goaltender appearance requirements are waived from Monday, Dec. 23, through Sunday, Dec. 29, in all Head-to-Head leagues.

Active goaltenders will be credited with all stats earned during this period, regardless of the total number of appearances made, although at least one goalie appearance is required to win the save percentage (SV%) or goals against average (GAA) stat categories.

My roto placing is pretty misleading because I rode Poulin for so long and he dragged my goalie stats down pretty badly.

I have Luongo, Lack, and Miller all with save percentages over .920 right now, so I'm not worried.

Ok, now THAT is weak sauce.
He got 1 start and happened to be a good outing.
