The first 5 names listed above the line are eligible to be put directly on to the list.

The next 5 (below the line), are eligible to be moved up to be put on the next poll. If any two are tied in bottom portion, I'll just move them up, and later on pare down the list when it gets too big.

We can tweak the process if it merits such.

This is to encourage discussion comparing prospects to each other, citing a drop in talent, etc. Especially for those of us less fortunate to see them for ourselves. It is not supposed to be a mock draft, so just pick the players you like.

You may also want to request a name to be added to the next poll.

1. Nail Yakupov, LW, Sarnia (OHL) - RUS (96.73%)
2. Mikhail Grigorenko, RW, Quebec (QMJHL) - RUS (50.00%)
3. Ryan Murray, D, Everett (WHL) - CAN (55.37%)
4. Alex Galchenyuk, C, Sarnia (OHL) - USA (62.24%)
5. Filip Forsberg, RW, Leksands (Allsvenskan) - SWE (65.54%)
6. Matt Dumba, D, Red Deer (WHL) - CAN (67.81%)
7. Jacob Trouba, D, USNDTP (USHL) - USA (39.26%)
8. Morgan Rielly, D, Moose Jaw (WHL) - CAN (47.88%)
9. Teuvo Teräväinen, RW, Jokerit (SM-liiga) - FIN (39.73%)
10. Griffin Reinhart, D, Edmonton (WHL) - CAN (52.55%)

He's an option because people voted for him, what part of that confuses you?

Oh nonono. That's not my confusion at all. I understand this concept. I just don't understand how...that's not true either. I fully understand how people think he's a top 15 prospect.

Personally he has done nothing to show me that anything that has been advertised about him is true.

I don't see much in Gaunce either, seems like he's only rated that high because... well there has to be a North American forward picked in the top 25 or this isn't an NHL draft :sarcasm:

I think him being ranked that high is based more on team need than skill level or projected skill level.

One guy voted four times.

Twice in each section.

Seen the same guy do the same thing before in a previous poll.

Probably has been doing it all along.

Really? How? And how can you tell?

If so, sort of takes away from the integrity of the previous picks, too, doesn't it?

Brian Fogarty voted for Faksa, Collberg, Aberg, and Girgensons.

He's done the same type of thing in at least one of the previous polls.
