Frankly, I think way too much emphasis is put on points with these young guys. Whole idea at this stage of their development is to learn how to play in 3 zones and not be a liability in our end.

Torch plays a very very defensive system--granlund not unlike the other young guys from a points perspective is underperforming but I think learning what it takes to be a pro.

From a long term perspective, think he is headed in the right direction.
