Think this is just a cover-up and Nieto is actually serving as Santas lead reindeer this year since he is so fast. We will get our presents quicker this year.

Matt Nieto, out with an ankle injury for the last seven games, will not play against the Ducks on Monday and will be reevaluated after the Christmas break. The Sharks will have four straight days off from Dec. 23-26, and play in Los Angeles on Saturday, Dec. 27.

“He’s still not ready. We’ll have to see after Christmas where he’s at,” Todd McLellan said.

Sounds like Nieto will be activated off of IR and Tierney will go back to Worcester.

Nieto getting back into the line up (hopefully tonight) is great news, he's been missed a lot.

Hope to see Nieto stay up to game speed but even more interested to see what line he lands on.
