Repeat Offender...
It's here, it's finally here! For the first time since April (and possibly December depending on which games you watched in the second half) the Minnesota Wild are back on the ice!
And you know what? This is our ****ing year to rule the NHL!
Sure, no one may see it coming. Sure, some may laugh at us. But that's not the first time this has happened. Remember when those non-believers laughed at Minnesota for having the ****ing audacity to offer free agent contracts?
"Who do these guys think they are," those people said. "This is the NHL. We think it's cute Minnesota fans come out to support a team that has missed the playoffs four straight years*. Go back to your hockey-loving state and let the big boys play."
They said Zach Parise...he wants to play with Sidney Crosby. He wants to play for a winner. They said Ryan Suter wants to be the next Niklas Lidstrom and a Detroit Red Wing.
You know what? They said a lot of wrong ****.
Who saw Minnesota signing BOTH Zach Parise and Ryan Suter? No ****ing one. That's who. It's a New World Order in St. Paul with those two, Finnish Baby Jesus, the ****ing all-star and Mikko Koivu. This team has an actual top-six and isn't a cheapshot injury away from starting Warren Peters - there's depth in the State of Hockey!
And best of all in the State of Hockey, this is Hockey Day Minnesota! We have outdoor high school hockey. We have Minnesota-North Dakota. And we have NHL Hockey. So fans, get your ****ing ass out there, post about the Minnesota Wild and watch the beginning of the NHL season and a new era in history!
