Halfway point of the season and Rittich is making his first home start of the season. I know he hasn't been a brick wall, but I feel like he should be seeing a few more starts than he has just to keep Saros from running out of gas. Juuse has started more games than any other goalie this season I think.

Edit: Yes, Saros at 33 is two more game than anyone else. His .923 is obviously great, but has fallen to 8th among goalies with 20+ starts

what's impressive about his # of starts is that we have the 2nd most games played in the NHL. So he’s had a very hard workload when compared to some others

I think Myers only attempted one punch that didn't land while McCarron was willing but those big tanks don't get a lot of MPG and ran out of gas before making it across the finish line.

The issue is Sportsnet is just as homerish. I've preferred when teams need an emergency broadcaster .... either radio to TV or local guy brought in to cover a game.
