Anyone are to inform me a bit about who are the best netminders for this year's draft at controlling the puck in their zones+making outlet passes? The assists stat is not part of the goalie stats list, so it is nearly impossible to track the quantifiable measure of who's hot/not with the puck. Can anyone care to chip in an opinion or two? Thanks!
-Matt.

Im curious as well, supposedly Jake Allen was considered the best puck handler in last year's draft as claimed by hockeysfuture and a few scouting reports. What goalies coming in this year are really comfortable hndling the puck and controlling the play?

Among euros most finnish tenders excel at handling the puck, and can easily convert that skill to NA since the rinks are in general smaller than in the rest of europe.

O. Roy
just like his father.

If you;re talking about the kid from Cape Breton's team...no relation to Pat, sorry...Olivier's full name, up until this year when he dropped it, was Olivier Bellavance-Roy. Entirely different set of genetics.

Pat Roy's kid's name is Jonathan Roy. He's not an NHL prospect.

And to finish off, Olivier Roy's puckhandling is one of his weaker points.
