Bäckström is being hyped beyond belief here in Sweden. The coach comparing him to Forsberg etc. He is looking damn good though, I must admit.

Backstrom is my early season sleeper as a top 10, maybe even top 5, for 2006. I thought he outperformed Bergfors at the U18s last season and seemed to be coming on in every tournament. He's a very complete, mature player- hardly ever makes a mistake.

Is that really true? We had a thread about it last year, where we found some players that could be on the top 3: http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=110306

:dunno: I´ll have to refer to the article in this matter.

However Bo "Drobny" Zetterberg was only 14 (!) when he made his debut 1958. ;)
