I dont think there's anything Czarnik could do to get him a spot. Peters just does not like what he sees.

No, it's not that.

It really comes down to special teams and handedness.

Peters in one interview specifically said he doesn't like Czarnik on his off wing, and also has no interest in Czarnik at center. So that leaves Czarnik at RW

Lindholm and Neal are mainstays on our PP.
Lindholm and Hathaway and even Frolik are mainstays on our PK.

Czarnik never got a shot at PKing and he didn't ever settle in on the PP.

Right now only two other players on roster are not on a special teams

Kylington - and he is a 21yo rookie Dman on a team with Gio, Brodie, Hanifin who can all handle PKing and PPing at LD

Mangiapane - and he is a LHS 22yo rookie LW on a team where even Backlund isn't on the PP.

If you're only gonna play kids at ES it might as well be the true kids.

Well he makes 1.25 which combined with our available cap space gives us just under 3M to use. So it could be a thing

They have really make cap friendly confusing. The best info is on the Flames page there, where it shows we have room for up to 6.978 in cap hits, if we move Czarnik in a deal, that increases to just over $8m
