No, that's bad. Best case you're attempting to check an already engaged player's shoulder with your hip. Further, there's basically no way for Faksa to keep his head from banging off the boards. I don't generally think that "being engaged" with someone means nobody else can hit you, but this is like setting someone up on a tee. Players have tons of tools to absorb the impact of a body check, but once you use them you don't always instantly get another, and it's pretty hard to absorb impact with the boards when you're still bouncing off them from the first time.

That's pretty horseshit, he can easily wedge Faksa out of the play and take the puck without bashing his jaw into the dasher. It's very similar to the unnecessary finish Joe Thornton put on Oshie a while back.
