It depends what do you want, if it is an all around player then I would take Ruutu, but if I wanted flashy offensive player who is going to make fans say wow then I would take Zherdev. That is how I would break it down.

Maybe the guys before him need good young D. Nothing wrong with that. Anyways, I would take Ruutu over Zherdev even though Ruutu has had 2 knee operations already.
