Danis Zaripov was injured in a meaningless game against France and might be out of the tournament as well along with Volchenkov. Russia is losing too many important players too early. I think Zaripov has been Russia's best forward so far.

According to Metallurg's website Zaripov will pass a few matches but could play in deciding games of this tournament.
