Elias is the #1 prospect by most outlets and after breaking records against men in his draft +1 season in the SHL is better prepared to produce. Its real early in the pre-season, but it sounds like he doesn;t look out of place. He's on the second like in Vancouver right now, but may still see PP1 minutes with Horvat and Boeser.

Zadina has a lot of confidence and motivation after dropping a few slots in the draft. Right now, though, there are more questions about his game than answers and Detroit's 2nd line without Zetterberg isn't very dangerous. He may see some PP1 time with Larkin and Mantha, but even then its not exciting many people. Zadina may have an advantage in that he is a W and not a C. Centers are easier to come by.

Everything else being equal I would take Pettersson without any concerns.

I'd look for most points from both players to come from the PP.

Vancouver sucked last season offensively; However, they had the 9th best PP
Detroit had the 25th best PP.

I would go Pettersson
