Zadina´s first 35 nhl games stats are scary simmilar to Kucherov and Pastrnak. Interesting is, that he was compared to these two dudes during draft. if you look at Kucherov´s first season, he was bust too, but he grew up from it.

Of course, you can also make similar comparisons to Jurco, Sheahan, Yakupov, etc, etc, etc.

Good call. MODs please delete this thread and have the admins put into the website coding to not allow the names of our prospects in any Recall/Assigned threads.

No need to let the jimmies rustle there, bud. Yzerman has been moving waiver exempt guys up and down for breaks every chance he gets.

i like them. I don’t have to check bleacher report. Not every guy that was sent down was called back up. There was no guarantee that Cholowski would come back up.

Well, his play wasn't making him indispensable. Wish he were in Minnesota in the NCAA learning to play defense, not getting embarrassed in the AHL and NHL nightly.

Yeah, maybe he's ready for another shot but I don't see what it hurts for the kid to iron out his game in GR for the rest of the year.

From what I have been able to gather, it sounds like he’s been getting a lot of extra coaching from kronwall and co. Maybe they want to see if he can put it into action on the nhl level. Wouldn’t make sense though because it hasn’t sounded like he’s been doing that great in GR. I agree though, let him build confidence and focus on defense at the slower pace of the ahl. I would like to see most of our prospects to stay put in GR, it’s no doubt watching them play for the wings but this season has been a wreck. Let Seider get a taste so he knows what it like before summer training and let some of the vets down there get rewarded if we need to fill a spot.

Brendan Smith and Marek Tvrdon are probably the two guys I was most wrong about as a Wings fan.

Hoping Cholo can get his game on track, starting to worry he will join the two just listed above... still time left, but I want him to start fixing some trouble areas and not see the same issues this time.

I feel like I remember stretches where Brendan Smith was our best defenseman. I’m not sure what happened to him. I liked him a lot. But, he kinda lost me when he acted like a hard ass to Chara and then backed down like a bitch. Don’t put yourself in that position if you aren’t going to follow through. I honestly think that hurt his pride and started his spiral.
