In news I didn't want to see. Zack Kassian is moving to Prague and playing in the Czech Extraliga.

Never really liked him as a player but I'm just genuinely happy for the guy that he was able to come to Edmonton & turn his life around.

Trust me, he didn’t turn his life around. In fact my guess it’s why he’s back in Canada.

I don't want to speculate why he left, but as someone who lives in Prague I can say it's not a great place for someone who has battled substance abuse issues. Quite the opposite in fact. Some of my friends are Sparta fans and they weren't terribly surprised it didn't work out with him. He was playing on the 4th line and not contributing much.
