Yzerman is on record wanting to spend time with his family in Detroit, No way i see Yzerman leaving Tampa to take on the job as Phillie's GM still think he's Detroit bound and will be our next GM in a year or two.

Yeah don't see Yzerman leaving Tampa to be with his family in Detroit, And then taking the Philly job. It was always Yzerman's dream to be the Wings GM and now that can come to fruition in a year or two.

I would love for it to be sooner but unfortunately Holland will finish out his contract
