Well, after much teasing and what not I'm finally back with another poll idea, this time for yrs. of birth (1957-1987).

It's going to be a 31 team round robin with each team playing the other once and the winner will be the team with the most points at the end (So ties can occur here). This tournament will take place over the next 31 weeks with 3 matches each weekday (This week only matches will be Tuesday-Saturday).

If anyone wishes me to make any lineup changes, let me know. Some of these players are played out of position to best fit different players into the lineup.

Lineup decisions based upon stats from hockeyreference.com.

For current players vote based upon career projections, for retired players vote based upon their careers.

Our 7th match is 1960 vs. 1966:

1960:

NHL Players Born in 1960 | Hockey-Reference.com

Michel Goulet-Igor Larionov-Jari Kurri

Aaron Broten-Dale Hunter-Tim Kerr

Ray Bourque-Paul Reinhart
Doug Crossman-Mike Ramsey
Tomas Jonsson-Doug Lidster

Andy Moog

1966:

NHL Players Born in 1966 | Hockey-Reference.com

Shayne Corson-Shawn Burr-Scott Mellanby
Wendel Clark-Michal Pivonka-Ed Olczyk

1966 got my vote.

This is another close one IMO.

The funny aspect is the LW vs. RW dynamic which sort of cancel each other out.

Centres are pretty close, though I think '60 has it, and a bit underwhelming compared with past rosters in this poll.

I'll go '66 based on the deeper D and goaltending.
