I do like GoldenEye as well and it is probably my favourite as well. Not sure how I would rank the others.
The Timothy Dalton ones are pretty good too. Daniel Craig's ones would be at the bottom tho.

If you think Daniel Craig's are at the bottom, then you haven't seen enough Bond films. Pretty much everything Roger Moore did was worse than Craig's stuff.

I've seen every James Bond film, and the Daniel Craig ones are definitely at the bottom for me. Along with Moonraker.

Fair enough. For the life of me I can't understand how anyone could think Casino Royale is worse than something like View to a Kill or Octopussy, but to each his/her own! I'm guessing you didn't like the more somber take on the character?

Goldeneye
From Russia With Love
Casino Royale

(I would've prefered Top-4, with the 4th being The Spy Who Loved Me)

Actually, Casino and Skyfall are great movies in and of themselves. Spectre and Quantum... urrghhh.

Casino Royale is the only great Craig one in the same way Goldeneye is the only great Brosnan one. Skyfall and Spectre are mediocre at best, and Quantum of Solace is bad. Nothing is worse than A View to a Kill or Die Another Day though.

What is it about goldeneye that makes it on so many of your top 3 lists?

I mean, I liked it too but I don't know if it stood out as such a unanimous decision. Was it that brosan shot some injection into the franchise as the new bond at the time?

It pretty much checks all the boxes of a great Bond film. Great Bond, great villains, chemistry between Bond and his main lady, compelling story, and some awesome action set pieces. Martin Campbell really needed to direct more of these, he seems to have the formula down pat.
