Favourite foreign classic films (and by that I don't mean which one you think is the best made, I actually mean favourite before everyone decides to fill it up with Tarkovsky)? Pre-80s as a cut-off for classics.

You might not want Tarkovsky, but I am pretty the lists will be dominated by Bergman, Kurosawa, Ozu, and Fellini.

They probably will fill up my list, if there is not a 1 film per director limit.

Pre-80s. Other than 400 Blows and Solaris, all of them are post-80s.

Every list has to include Elling and Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain.
