-Young C prospect (1st line potential, under 25)

Or move up in the draft.

I'd like to ride through the clouds on a unicorn with an in her prime Ann Margaret clutching me.

Toss up to whose is more realistic.

Move Killorn
Move Tyler Johnson or buy him out
Resign Serg, Cirelli, and Cernak for what cap space remains
Stamkos to stay healthy

As a distant possibility: some unusual deal we can't see coming like the Pionk+2nd for Killorn+Cernak deal a Winnipeg fan proposed in the Killorn+Cernak thread (I think that's the thread).

I think Anaheim's season will be pretty simple:

- Determine if Rakell stays or a change is needed
- Determine if Manson stays or a change is needed
- Evaluation year to decide who from the youngsters/newcomers will become part of the core going forward: heinen, milano, terry, jones, steel, lundestrom, comtois, larsson, curran, djoos, guhle, mahura
- Does Ryan Miller retire, or do they bring him back for one more season? If not, are they satisfied using Stolarz as the backup to Gibson for this season?
- No pressure to succeed this season, get another lotto pick, deal with expansion draft
- Go into the following season making moves with the new core, tons of cap space and looking to get back to playoffs.

NY Rangers:

In a Covid-19 world they need nothing; what would be the point?
Possible no fans at the Garden. Decreased Fan Gear product sales. TV revenues? Three NMC contracts with one more year left. Limited cap space to sign their RFAs they wish to keep. Add that to a limited upside to production of their current roster and rookies that will be joining the team.
In a non Covid world or next season:
1st and fourth line Center
Number 1 Left Defenseman

Habs need:

- legit top line winger
- some toughness on the 4th line
- Drouin to become the guy.

-2nd line center if we don’t re-sign Strome (Max Domi, Mikael Granlund, Anthony Cirelli)

-RD if we don’t re-sign DeAngelo (Trevor Ran Riemsdyk, Sami Vatanen)

-LD (Brendan Dillon, Mikhael Sergachev)

4th Line Center who can win face offs (Mikko Koivu, Sam Gagner)

needs are:
1) high end talent
2) stop gap LHD for 2 years. No more than $3-$4 million a year actual cash contract. Must be able to be a good mentor to younger players.
3) time

Canucks:

-Need a GM that can trade the bad contracts off this team for the all importan Cap Space!
-Need more speed/size/grit both on D and upfront. Need to move out a handful of players and have a mini makeover of sorts
-Need NOT cave to giving Marky a NMC, let him walk if he wants NMC AND lots of $/term

JB can stay on as President and scouting department.

I'd speculate that the Jackets top six will be something like this:

Texier/add - Dubois - Bjorkstrand
Nyquist - Texier/add - Atkinson

We're not sure where the FO will focus their additions. Texier seems to be a perfect 2C type to me but who knows if the FO will put him there soon. If he's at center they need a topline winger. If he's on the wing they need to import a 2C.

The rest of the team is set, if anything there are too many players at D, G, and bottom six F.

I think we're fine at 4C. We have Howden and Barron. And Zibanejad is the 1C...

But yes, Rangers need a 1LD and a 2C.

Pretty sure Koivu will go back to Finland if he isn't playing for MIN and Sam Gagner isn't a centre anymore. Hasn't been in a long time. I don't think he's ever been good at faceoffs.

To have certain fans of certain teams to stop asking for Myers in a trade.

We need Patrick to hopefully get the right meds for his migraines.
We need AV to play Frost and live thru growing pains.
We need Fletch to not do anything drastic, and don't re-sign any UFA's
