Very recent one for the Wings. Game 1 vs the Ducks in '03. That OT turned a Wing win into a Duck sweep. Robitaille's post/crossbar combo that was called a goal then waived off and Giguere's 60-ish? saves created the unbeatable aura surrounding Giggy for the Wings' shooters. They never recovered. Had they been able to score and win that game I don't think the Ducks could have recovered as the most Herculean of goalie efforts (20 saves in the 1st OT) would have been wasted.

Game 4, 2002 Eastern Conference semi-finals. Niclas Wallin beats JT off a faceoff after Montreal blows a 3-0 third-period lead.

That 2002 Habs team could have gone all the way, and that game killed it. I still can't think about it.

a recent one for Caps fans is '03 playoffs vs Tampa Bay.. Dennis Larue makes a horrible call on Jagr in OT to give the Bolts a 2 man advantage. Lecavalier scores and the Lightning go on to win the series. Both refs were reprimanded for that horsesh*t call.
