Nate has been kind of quiet for himself, and Kadri still hasn't gelled with the team but mentioning those two feels like looking for a problem when there isn't any.

Probably Klingberg. Has not started the year well at all.

In general the big name players have not started the year well. Depth scoring has been really good and Hintz has been great but the guys who are paid the big bucks really have not been good yet.

Rangers haven’t played enough games yet to really be disappointed in anything.

For Anaheim, definitely the PP. Could have been a difference last night if they scored at least one PP goal.

Third periods. Three games in a row they go into the third period with a lead, three games in a row they come out with a loss. Last night they let in 4 in the third against Nashville in what was a putrid team defensive performance. It's like they forget how to play hockey in the third period... very odd.

As far as individuals go... I'm going to go with Holtby. Thought he'd put up great numbers in his contract year but he's not been good and is likely making the Caps decision to move on pretty easy (at least thus far).

The bad: Kane has been invisible in 90% of his shifts
The good: still has 4 points in 2 games somehow

Tampa Bay Lightning:
Nothing to really complain about.
Sure, the defense has looked sketchy at times, but really, all sorts of anamolies are going to happen in the first 10-12 games of any given season and I expect the Bolts' D to round into shape as the year wears on.

Minnesota Wild:
Oh boy....a completely different animal from the Bolts here.....
Disappointed that the Wild look EVERY BIT the part like the team that they finished last year with...………. rudderless, not able to play a complete 60 minute game, and struggling to score goals.
And that is WITH having a healthy Mat Dumba back on the blue line.

I can say "it is still early" with this team as well, but truth is, unless the forwards get things in gear, this team will remain at the bottom of the Central all season long....
