Hopefully this thread doesn't have to be a tradition anymore in the near future.

For me, in no particular order, the teams I would really enjoy seeing win are:

Minnesota Wild
San Jose Sharks
St. Louis Blues
Calgary Flames
Columbus Blue Jackets
Montreal Canadiens
Washington Capitals

Teams I'd be more or less neutral on seeing win:

Ottawa Senators
Toronto Maple Leafs
New York Rangers (maybe a bit more than neutral, would nice to see Henrik Lundvqist win a cup)
Anaheim Ducks
Edmonton Oilers
Nashville Predators

"Hell no" teams:

Chicago Blackhawks
Pittsburgh Penguins
Boston Bruins

I'll mostly be bandwagoning Minnesota. Let's get Hanzal a cup!

Minnesota for Hanzal, San Jose because why not, and Columbus for THE #1 COP IN THE FORCE, BOBROVSKY.

Minny because Hanzal is the GOAT, and I think their team plays fun hockey the right way.

San Jose because Thornton will take his **** out if he scores 4 goals.

Washington because I want to see OV get a cup.

Minny for Hanzal and Boudreau.

CBJ for Tortorella.

Nashville is tolerable without Ribeiro.

Anaheim could be fun too. Same with NYR.

I'll let you know my selection once the final two teams are decided (probably the next time I'll watch a match).

Of course, I wouldn't mind seeing MTL or CGY do well this season. following them, CLM or BOS would be acceptable to me. Of the western teams (besides Calgary), maybe NSH

I want the Leafs to win it all, and I want them to do it on the back of Auston Matthews.

Maple Leafs have been a travesty for decades. It would be amazing to see an American kid, from Arizona to boot, as the reason The Cup return to Toronto for a reason other than being in a museum.

My preference for the Stanley Cup Final would be Minnesota or St. Louis vs Montreal or Toronto.

No complaints from me whatever the outcome so long as the winner isn't Chicago or Pittsburgh.

San Jose, Minny, the Caps, or the Blues would be great. I'd prefer not to see the Pens or Hawks.

As much as I would like to see Matthews win a cup, I can't see myself rooting for Toronto to win given the the whole USA vs Canada thing and the seeing how most people in Canada hate us and wish for us to lose our hockey team.

I'll follow a similar format

Teams I'll be cheering for:

Wild
Caps
Sharks (enjoyed bandwagoning them last year)
Sens
Preds

Teams that'll potentially be my fallback team to bandwagon

CBJ
Blues
Flames

Neutral
Rangers
Bruins

Teams I will be cheering against

Leafs
Habs
Pens
Ducks
Oilers
Blackhawks

With the whole Canada thing, Ottawa is least popular of the Canadian teams. They get overlooked a lot by the Canadian media so it would be funny if they were the ones to break the Canadian curse.

Minnesota for Ryan and Martin.

Toronto because they are local and you have to like the kids.

Montreal because I was born a Habs fan.

I'm with you, except for the Ducks. Getzlaf, Silfverberg and Perry turn me off to their team.

I also can't get behind the Caps, because of Ovechkin. I hope they remain Cup-less until he leaves or retires. Perhaps the curse of the gold laces?

Who I want to win in the first round...

Chicago vs Nashville -> Nashville
St. Louis vs Minnesota -> Happy with either
Anaheim vs Calgary -> ABC
Edmonton vs San Jose -> ABC

Montreal vs New York -> ABC
Ottawa vs Bruins -> ABC&T (and Turris)
Washington vs Toronto -> ABC and I can never route against Ovy when Yotes not involved
Penguins vs Columubus -> Columbus

As for teams I'll be actively routing for the most are the Caps, Blue Jackets, Predators and whoever wins between the Wild and Blues.
