I was bored so I started to put together a roster of my favorite NFL players of all time by position. Thought this would be both fun and interesting.

Drum up your favorites roster - it's not a competition of "BEST" roster but rather who were your guys that you always watched and admired.

You'll be able to tell really quickly I was a 80's/90's guy.

QB - Randall Cunningham (Not the best QB but I loved watching him play. Plus he killed it on my fantasy teams)
RB - Barry Sanders (easiest pick of them all)
FB - Tom Rathman (only for his crazy neck protector)
WR - Larry Fitzgerald
WR - Steve Largent (both of these WRs I really respected both on/off the field)
TE - Ozzie Newsome (always thought he was better than what he accomplished with Browns)
LT - Anthony Munoz (beast)
LG - Bruce Matthews
C - Tom Nalen
RG - Randall McDaniel
RT - Gary Zimmerman (was so excited when Broncos got him)

DE - Neil Smith
DT - Jerome Brown (he was one of my all time favs)
DT - John Randle
DE - Howie Long (good player good dude)
OLB - LT (Michael Jordan of the NFL in his time)
OLB - Derrick Brooks
ILB - Junior Seau
CB - Deion Sanders
CB - Louis Wright (another all time fav)
S - Deron Cherry
S - Eric Berry

P - Ray Guy
PK - Morton Anderson
PR/KR - Deion Sanders

RB - LaDanian Tomlinson
WR - Steve Smith
WR - Terrell Owens
WR - Odell Beckham Jr
TE - Rob Gronkowkski
Oline - 2008 Panthers

DE - Jason Taylor
DT - Kawann Short
DT - Kris Jenkins?
DE - Julius Peppers
LB - Luke Kuechly
LB - Brian Urlacher
LB - Zach Thomas
CB - Josh Norman

I watched almost exclusively Dolphins from when I was old enough to remember through '96 when I moved to NC, with a gradual transition to the Panthers from '96-'99. From '99 to about '03 it was mostly Panthers. Since then is when I REALLY started to pay attention to the rest of the league.

Man I forgot about Carrier and Ed Reed. Loved both of them as well.

Marino would have been one of the best of all time on another team. That dude was the most protypical large pocket passer ever.

I like your style with TO and Odell. A nightmare for opposing head coaches and an even bigger headache for their own head coach.

I just love the way they play. I didn't even like TO early on but I think some of that extra stuff was overblown. As I've grown up, I've started to care less about these big personality players as long as they are clean off the field.

Bonzai, great picks at WR.
I liked Largent a lot. And besides Fitzgerald, I also like a couple earlier Cards.. Roy Green and Ricky Proehl.

I'd have some more Cards in my favorite QBs list too.. Jake Plummer & Neil Lomax.

I'd add Bradshaw, Brady, & Esiason on my favorite QBs list.
