Not sure why but I've been listening to a lot of old Canadian Bar bands lately.
David Wilcox Radio on Spotify has been reliving a lot of old memories for me.

For newer bands, really like The Record Company

The Matrix
i think i like rain street the most of all their songs. cant claim to be a massive fan but enjoy most of their songs.

also there is a great documentary about Shane MacGowan, its a little depressing how much of an alcoholic he is though. its called "if i should fall from grace"

I did watch that, he’s a complete mess, but a wonderful song writer. Never had the pleasure of seeing him live, but a friend went to one his concerts back in the early 90’s, Shane passed out half way through the first song

Fairytale of New York is like the greatest song ever. The album If I Should from Grace... is a terrific eclectic mix of ditties in different musical genres. I find the album before it a wee bit hard on your emotional well being.

Here's an effective sequel to Fairytale doing a sarcastically grim Cole Porter song:

Collective Soul:

Ed Roland seems to know every trick in the pop-rock toolkit. Asked recently about his favourites, he answered something like Black Sabbath, Queen, Elton John, Supertramp, INXS, Tears for Fears... I knew there was a reason why I was drawn to his music.

The Naki
my fav G&R song

Isn't that off use you illusion 2?

I may be showing my age but I still prefer the music off Appetite for Destruction, that album is an all time great imo

I'm listening to Tool, Metallica and Grunge like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam

Plenty of time to go through the full album collection
