For all major sports they have been lucky enough to have. I hit "post" and then realized this is the hockey section, so move it if you like, Mods.

3. Joe Carter
4. Vince Carter
5. Kawhi Leonard
6. Doug Gilmour
7. Mats Sundin
8. Darryl Sittler
9. Roy Halladay
10. Wendel Clark

How about YOUR city?

There are probably about 4 or 5 more Blue Jays that were better than Wendel Clark.

Also Leonard at 5th for his short stint is quite a bit less than guys like Tim Horton, Apps Senior and Ted Kennedy just off the top of my head.

Yeah Maybe. But Leonard had such huge impact on the Raptors and their 1st championship. And Wendel was just so impactful for the Leafs. His numbers were not at the top, but a lot of that was because he destroyed his health for his team. Others will disagree, I'm sure.

Is this people from our city, or people who played for a team based in our city? Because those are different lists. For Montreal, for the former, I could potentially include Mario Lemieux, Ray Bourque, Martin Brodeur, and many more. If it's people who played here, a few Expos would make the list.

I'd say people who played for your city. Not just from there.

I assume your list isn't in any particular order. Otherwise, I would love to know how Frank Thomas is above Walter Payton.

I love how you have Orr on there twice!

I’d go with:

Tom Brady
David Ortiz
Bill Russell
Bobby Orr
Ted Williams
Rocky Marciano
John Havlicek
Larry Bird
Babe Ruth
Carl Yastrzemski

I'm not going to do a particular order but here are my ten

Bobby Clarke, Bernie Parent
Brian Dawkins, Reggie White
Dr. J, Allen Iverson, Wilt Chamberlin
Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Chase Utley

Joe Frazier if boxing were to count.

Had to leave off Lindros, Chuck Bednarik, Charles Barkley, Jimmy Rollins and I'm sure I'm missing a ton more. Giroux is slowly making his way up too with his longevity at this point.

Very curious as to why Dawkins is on the list ahead of McNabb.

As a Vancouverite I respectfully hate you.

One of the top 10 for Vancouver no doubt is Christine Sinclair
