Proposal: Young defensive/mobile LHD for Jonathan Drouin

Habs have an excess of wingers and we're lacking a good defensive/puck moving presence on the blue line, anyone good available?

Could also take a lower value defensive LHD (still has to be young and have good upside) plus a winger for Drouin.

Why is it a joke? I've been following Sergachev since 1 year before his draft year, he can't play D and has very low defensive iq. He has no d-zone awareness, he just stands there like a pylon and stares at the puck. He plays on his heels not his toes.

Like, maybe just build a puck passing robot that sits like a pylon near the goal but whips any puck it touches to a teammate.

Stylistically players like Brodin, Lindholm etc. Not asking for these guys specifically, they're just examples of good/mobile defensive dmen.

Could even be a defensively responsible small dman, someone like Spurgeon (he's an RHD tho).
