Who do you think will be the better offensive defenseman: Ivan Vishnevski (Stars, '06 1st rd pick) or Anton Babchuk (Carolina, '02 1st rd pick by Chicago). Vishnevski is supposed to a better puck handler with problems in the defensive zone. Babchuk is supposed to be an imposing defensive force with a booming slap shot. I'm just curious how people see these two differently styled defensemen compare with each other :dunno:

If Babchuk was somewhere like Washington, Pittsburgh or still in Chicago people would not slap the bust lableon him.

He's NHL ready, he impresses me when he gets a chance to play, and I hope the Canes for their sake don't rush into trading Jack Johnson because of the Kaberle injury... Instead they should let a guy like Babchuk play.
