I've been doing this for the last 3 years, so here I go again with my first round mock draft.

I'm considering doing a second round to this 'cause I really like doing that, it helps to learn about the prospects.

I'm only posting the picks here, but if anyone is interested, the original version is in French and is around 4000 words for the first round only.

There is no way the Isles take Niederrieter over Fowler and Connolly.

It was my first idea to put it this way. In my 4000 words writeup, I have Connolly to NYI, I juste didn't change it. Thanks for reminding me though.

will take Skinner or Watson before taking Campbell. First round goalies are typically a waste, especially in a very deep class like this year.

Fowler dropping to 6th?

If he goes that far, I really hope Dallas pushes hard and moves up to nab him......though I suppose Forbort's great to have as well. He goes to the Stars in most mock drafts I've seen.

Yea... my five bucks says if Boston/Florida pass on Fowler, Columbus is going to grab him, Isles will take Connolly/Gormley, have a trio of great prospect D so i say 60% chance with Connolly and 40% chance with Gormley, Lightning take Niederreiter.

Tinordi above Pysyk. I can't say I've seen that before. I personally would rather take Pysyk's puck skills and skating over Tinordi. And while Pysyk is a really good value for ATL there, if DET had taken Pysyk, I think ATL goes with a forward, if they're ok with Russians, maybe Kuznetsov, otherwise maybe McFarland, with Washington taking Kuznetsov or Pitlick.
