This went down already, wanted some thoughts.

One team now only has Raanta and Nillson as his goalies (he made trade to get rid of Darling as he is NOW 0-8 on season in head to head), the league is more goalie centric than most. I will post a pts breakdown of the league as well.

We are a (transitioning into) keeper league - 19 man roster - 2 keepers this year.

Eric Staal Min - C
Marcus Johansson NJ - LW
Round 2

FOR

Scott Darling Car - G
Artemi Panarin Cls - C,LW
Round 6

Not smart of that team to trade one of it's better forwards/trade chips, and receive no goalie back, when your team is weak at goalie. Ok, they got a 2nd back. Why even add a draft pick the other way, (albeit a 6th).

Some leagues require the number of picks per team to be constant, so any trade that moves one pick one way has to send one pick back the other way.

Yahoo’s pick tracking is like this. All trades that send n picks one way must send n picks the other way (if you choose to use Yahoo’s pick management and not handle pick ownership outside Yahoo. )

Does the team that gave up Darling and Panarin have 2 players that are as good/better than Darling and Panarin? Because if he does, then it's not a bad trade.

You said the league has only 2 keepers this year. So maybe these guys don't make the cut. Plus lots of un-kept players means the talent pool at the draft will be huge, and a 2nd round pick will get a very good player.

Looks fair to me. No collusion or a trade so out of whack it needs to be vetoed. Maybe the guy has another trade set up with someone to obtain a goalie.

If you're keeping 2 players - he's going to be able to draft goalies.
