The older I get the more convinced I am that Chrono Trigger has the video game greatest soundtrack ever.

I’ve read accounts of his work on the Chrono Trigger soundtrack. From what I remember, they indicate that he worked himself to the point of bloody ulcers. Chrono Trigger’s soundtrack is definitely up there as one of the all time great video game scores.

Arguably, his work on Chrono Cross is better, too.

Yes, he was then taken out by the illness and Uematsu had to make 10 tracks to cover for him.

That song trolled me. Getting detained by Zeal and battling the Golem was a bit of a shock because Corridors of Time just set the mood really well.
