Paquette and Gustafsson, I love the first round pick. I'd prefer us waiting for the third to take Paquette, but I'd be happy with that.

Just my opinion (because none of us really know how the draft will turn out), but I think the Kings will select 2 defensemen with their first 3 picks. So even though I like both Eberle and Dalpe I believe that one of the selections (#28 or #32) will be for Neimi, Ness or Yann Sauve

Canes won't go for a d-man in the first round (Rutherford has said as much publicly). They'd most likely take Bailey at #14 with how you have the draft projected so far. I like the Voinov selection in the 2nd though. He's one of the few second round defensemen I hope the Canes take a hard look at despite the lack of a transfer agreement.

Tyler Ennis at 37 is robbery, I would'nt be mad if a team took him in the top 15-20. No he doesnt have the size but he is one really skilled player.

Ottawa is in control of Chicago's 2nd rounder.
I wouldn't be the happiest with Markstrom over Teubert or Tedenby either. They've implied that they'll wait until after the first round to draft a goaltender as well.

Good mock, though.

While I would hate to miss out on Ness, Niemi, and O'Dell, I do love the picks of Trivino and Goloubef for the Kings.

Another random comment from a Kings fan. The Kings have 8 picks in the first 3 rounds of this draft. Their weakest position in terms of prospects is goal tending. You have them draft zero goaltenders in the first three rounds. I think it is safe to say that Lombardi would draft at least one goaltender with his first 8 picks.

I thought the Kings were strong in prospects in net? They got Bernier,Zatkoff,Quick

This draft would be a dream come true for an isles fan.:handclap:

Filatov @5, then getting Deschamps @35 who has been projected as a first rounder and we also are extremely thin at center at the NHL level and in our prospect pool he would immediately become our top center prospect.

Guys gotta love to associate Quebec Prospects with the Habs huh? Yet, we rarely take many.

This year might be different though as Timmins is high on Deschamps and Sauvé, but if Karlsson is still available, we'll draft him over freaking paquette any day of the week. :D

There seems to be some mistake here. You have 31 pick in that 3rd round and the Isles have 2 3rd pick (Anaheim's pick belongs to them for the MA Bergeron trade).

I don't think they're that weak with Bernier, Zatkoff, Quick, and even Rowat, but I could see DL drafting a goalie though. Never hurts to have a lot of goalie prospects.
I think they're weakest position in terms of prospects, besides defense, would be centermen. They've got Kopitar (yes I know he's not a prospect), Boyle and Lewis. After that it gets very slim.
