Can we do something like 4 or 5 Mountain? That's 6 or 7 EST, would prefer to not be up until the crack of dawn drafting.

3 Centers, 2 LW, 2 RW, 1 F, 1 Util (give or take), 4 D, 2 G, 3-4 bench, 12-14 GM's...
That's going to take quite awhile longer than 45 minutes.

4 or 5 mountain is fine with me. If speed is a concern just shorten the draft time to one minute. I think it would probably take around 90-100 minutes to get through the draft.

I've already done a draft, see post above, it takes around 40 minutes to an hour. In my case it was 45 minutes. They have a time limit on draft and if anyone isn't there is autopicks in 10 seconds.
Edit: the only way it would really take a long time is if every single gm uses the entire amount of time for their picks.

I've done these things for years now, I know it's going to take at least double that time if we make the roster size anything normal. Bigger drafts have taken me 3 hours before with timers.

Hey guys, I set the draft time to Sunday at 4:45 Mountain. That seems to be the most popular time, so we will roll wit that. I am sorry if that screws up others, but keep in mind, it screws me up too. I also set the time limit to 1 minute, because honestly, you don't need 90 seconds to make a pick. I may also mess around with a few other settings, but will let you know.

Hey guys, reminder that our draft is this afternoon at 4:45 MDT. I made a few changes to the settings, adding a utility position, a forward position, as well as a N/A position (if you want to stash a prospect or something). on scoring, I added shorthanded points, shots on goal, faceoffs won, hits, blocks and shots against (goalies).
So enjoy the draft. I won't be able to make it (GABF week is here, I'm super busy these days), but hopefully I end up with a bad ass team.

Can you add an additional center slot? There's a lot more quality centers than wingers for these games. It also gives us a spot for a 3rd line center that adds supplemental stats (e.g. a Brian Boyle type).

Didn't want to make a new thread so dug this one up, was just wondering if anyone had a cool/funny/clever Avs based fantasy hockey names? Currently my team name is Mackinnon and Cheese(lame i know), which has been bad luck for me, looking to change it with suggestions hopefully!
