XPW - were you a fan?

Controversial Rob Black (LA porn lord) ran this infamous promotion in the late 90's to early 00's. They had a lot of disgruntled ECW employees at the start who left Heyman due to not being paid, as well as some local LA guys like KAOS, Pogo the Clown etc. There was a LOT of rot with this promotion, and sometimes some decent wrestling. Towards 2002 / 2003 it was ran as a more "normal" indy, with Joey Styles on commentary, Shane Douglas booking.

Sounds like something you'd hear from Kris Kloss (XPW PBP guy).

Anyway, I wasn't really a fan. Kaos was a pretty good wrestler, surprised he never amounted to anything more.

I bought a few videos online way back for a fairly cheap price (like $10 for 3 videos) and there is some entertainment value to them. There is some really insane hardcore stuff on there. Guys without much talent willing to do anything to their bodies, freefalling off ridiculously high ladders, wrestling in a pool of body fluids...

Then there were some legit talent and matches like Shane Douglas.

And the valets like pron actresses Krysti Mist and Jessica Darlin were unbelievable hot. I watched the videos when I first got them and they've sat on my shelf since and Ive had not any desire to re-watch them

For all the people who like to **** on ECW, XPW was far...far worse.

That company was straight up garbage. Even TNA was better than that dreck.
