OT: XBMC/Kodi

Just wondering if anyone on the board has had good luck using XBMC. If so, I've got a couple of questions for you with regards to live TV and various channels. In particular, my wife and I are thinking of getting rid of cable and while I've got a basic install of Kodi on my laptop, I'm having troubles adding various channels and would like some help from an experienced user who might be able to guide me through adding channels and add-ons.

Youtube taught me. If you have FB you can add XBMC/Kodi related groups and users post great info there. Fixes, new addons and just new cool stuff in general.

Yup YouTube and honestly, XBMC is good for movies (I won't say great cause getting subtitles can be an issue) and TV shows but not really live TV.

If you have a particular question ask away but keep in mind I don't use XBMC that often so I'm not up on all the latest sources.
