What are the main differences between these two skates?

The price difference between the two has dropped to only 50 bucks and I plan on picking up a pair of one or the other at hockey monkey (monkey sports) tomorrow.

I should mention I'm looking to have the skate for a while as well.

The X50 has a different outer (X40 has a standard nylon outer, not sure what's different about the X50 but it's definitely not the same material), a different liner, a different outsole and a less bulky tongue. It's a bit lighter, not a real big difference though. I found the two to feel slightly different fit-wise on my feet, and went with the X40, cheaper and I just liked how it felt/fit a touch more (though obviously the fit was quite similar, most of the difference I think was just the liner). Both great skates IF they fit your feet, but fit is ALWAYS the most important thing when it comes to skates. If you haven't tried on skates in this price range from all the different companies to see what fits best you're doing yourself a real disservice.
