X:40 Skates?

How do they compare to the higher end bauer skates, like the X:50, X:60, XXXX, or the supreme series?

All Bauer skates are basically the same ****ing thing. I've worn TotalOne's, One35's, and and Vapor 60s. Minor stiffness differences, but I really didn't notice much difference. Thicker tongue too on Vapors.

Same quality level as XXV and One75, very good skates, great for most players except those who are on the ice 5 days a week or are super heavy.

I have been wearing X40s for about a year and a half. Great skates for the price. The only difference that I can see between them and the x60s is a very slight weight and stiffness difference. As was already said- unless you are a super high-end player, its probably fine for you.

Right, to elaborate, the differences are usually a little more stiffness in the boot and outsole as well as a nicer liner and overall slightly lighter weight.

In terms of your average guy on the ice once a week, you'll never tell the difference.
