Nice to see him signed long-term. He's been brilliant in the AHL.

Not any time soon. Not sure anyone in the organization thinks Stevenson is NHL ready... yet. This is more a reward for his very hot start in Hershey, and solidifies the depth for a while. That's a very solid tandem of Shephard/Stevenson down in Hershey.
I'm thinking more so Lindgren becomes starter, Kuemper gets traded, Shephard becomes back up and Gibson and Stevenson rule in Hershey.

Shepherd sub .900 in AHL this year

Clay guy is not as good as the Candlemaking one. They should've kept him instead imo. Stupid Vegas.

Lindgren to Jersey!
Sure, if you cough up a 1st round draft pick and something else! It's not gonna happen, but if you trade with a division opponent, it will cost you more.

If Lindgren keeps this up, he will become the Cap new temp #1 and Kuemper will be traded. Kuemper's cost would probably be a 3rd(2nd if his numbers get above .900 SV% and GAA below 3.00) + a player with a cap hit around $4 million
