I'd imagine the Caps are banking on the notion that he's going to continue to be a bit of a "late bloomer" at upper levels like he was at lower levels. Maybe that goal-scoring ability starts to translate to the NHL level after a couple years.

They'll probably put Leason on the 4th line to start out the year. I wouldn't mind seeing a glimpse of Hathaway a little higher in the lineup with Wilson out to start the season. He had 14 goals on the 4th line.
